Anne's Tassels!

My Purple Tassel

This fabulous lush tassel has 54 strands of fringe. Each strand it tipped with a wonderful purple crystal.
The top is about one and a half inches tall, and the fringe is about 4 inches long. The loop is about five inches.

Orange You Glad

(That I didn't say banana!)
What can I say, I just had a calling to make an orange tassel! I just LOVE the leaf beads I used in the fringe, they are half-gold and just stunning in person. Same dimensions as my other big tassels. :)

Hematite Heaven

This fabulous lush tassel has 56 strands of fringe. The outer row of fringe has two kinds of crystals for added sparkle! The top is almost 2 inches tall, and the fringe is 4 inches long. The loop is on Accu-flex for added strength, as the tassel is quite heavy, and is six inches long.

Purple Passion

This fabulous lush tassel has 56 strands of fringe. The top is almost 2 inches tall, and the fringe is 4 inches long. The loop is on Accu-flex for added strength, as the tassel is quite heavy, and is six inches long. The scanner does NOT do this tassel justice, the blues, greens and purples are just lovely, ranging from very shiny silver-lined beads to mattes.

The Round One

I started this tassel using Ava's round base, but I added several extra rows. There is a total of 56 fringe strands on this one, and they just beg you to touch them. I think you truly have to feel this tassel to really appreciate it!! The top is almost 2 inches tall, and the fringe almost 4 inches long. The loop is on Accu-flex for added strength, as the tassel is quite heavy. I reverse stitched the top, starting at the very top and working down, then attaching the last row to the second row up on the bottom. I am much better at increasing brick stitch then decreasing!! :) I just love the browns and gold combination....

The Square One

I started this tassel using Ava's square base, but I again added several extra rows. There is a total of 60 fringe strands on this one! The top is almost an inch and a half tall, and the fringe about four and a half inches long. The loop is also on Accu-flex for added strength, as the tassel is quite heavy. For the top, I brick stitched each of the four sides up into a triangle, but instead of stitching each side individually, I went around the top, adding a gold size 8 bead in between the edges. This finished the top off at the same time, instead of having to come back and sew the triangles together after stitching them. For another view of the top, click here.
